Stage make-up is not the same as a night out. In this course, you'll learn how to put on your stage face, and even amaze the back row with your moves.

We will play with the boundaries of our faces, experience the difference between beauty makeup and stage makeup, and be offered tips on products and where to buy them. We will also talk about tips and tricks for the trade. Every day we will focus on a different part of the face, lips, eyes, skin, brows and end the course series with a little sfx.

This open class is for those who are new to burlesque, but may also have some previous experience with burlesque or dance from before, or perhaps want to brush up on your old skills.

We will mix classic burlesque, with glamorous and sexy moves such as bumps n grinds and shimmys with some newer style moves and music for an all-round Burlesque Experience, with a focus on building confidence and self-love. The class will consist of warm-up and stretching, dance and burlesque technique, heels training and ends with a choreography. 

Are you curious about burlesque? Do you want to learn basic burlesque but have little or no prior experience?
Then this is the course for you! You will get an introduction to burlesque and its history while we learn tasseltwirling, bumps n grinds and other basic burlesque movements and traditions, while also including theater exercises.

During the course, you will learn a simple choreography, where you can be confident when dancing.

This class is for those who have taken at least 2-3 previous semesters of Burly Babes or Newcomers Burlesque (or have other relevant previous dance experience) and feel confident in basic steps and simple dance technique. We will work with both the classic and commercial side of Burlesque. Including soultry slow-burning movements, dirty floorwork, and cheeky cabaret style. Get ready to improve your improvisation skills, musicality and performance technique!

You will be challenged with more in-depth exercises, and the choreo will be more technical and learned at a faster pace. The class will consist of warm-up and stretching, dance and burlesque technique, heel training and ends with a technical choreography. Each class will have different focus areas such as different peel techniques, floorwork, showgirl technique, etc.

Based on Newcomers Burlesque Level 1. Suitable for those who have participated in 1-3 courses before, or have other dance or theater experience. We work a little more purposefully to be able to perform choreography. We continue to work on acting techniques, such as character building, eye contact, and following each other as a group, but also to build up our own burlesque alter ego.

With Baby Steps, we explore improvisation and being able to find one's own character within with a personal approach. In this course, we focus on performance. Through basic theatre technical exercises, we will learn to have fun with performance and presence on stage. We learn dance technique, and we challenge ourselves a little more in terms of technique, strength, stretch, choreo and performance.

This open class is for those who are a little new to burlesque, or perhaps have some previous experience with either burlesque or dance from before.

These classes will focus more on the performance part of burlesque (such as character work and performance).

Are you ready to meet your inner Seductress? Over the course of four weeks we will dive into the art of erotic movement that evolved in the strip club before the rise of neo-burlesque. Each week will focus on a different aspect of strip club movement, from floorwork to lapdance, heels technique for platform shoes, and how to channel your own sensuality.

These classes will not feature a choreography but give you the tools to improvise your hottest fantasies and turn them into steamy dance moves in a safe and like-minded environment.

This course is open-level and beginner friendly. One of the courses will focus on heels, and you are encouraged to try heels that are over 6 inches in height for this class. You will not be required to undress nor lapdance for anyone if you don’t want to, but there will be possibilities to try out lapdancing in pairs.
